One Reason Why Indigos & Earth Angels Feel Down & What To Do About It
This is really common, especially among people who incarnated from lives off-planet, or are used to a way of living that is less polarized. You know deep down there is a "better" way.
(NOTE: I'm not necessarily talking about people diagnosed with depression - just people who do experience it, and this may be an influence and possibility as to why. It's a metaphysical influence to explore.)
I think what happens is that we kind of "vibrate out" of our present-moment experience seeking for what we've known before. You will find it for short periods and feel elated. But since you're here in this body and this life, you'll inevitably be drawn back through the magnetic pull to your body. When you descend through consciousness back into your physical body, your brain will tell you "this is a place of stress" and you will feel forced to release the heart-centered, high vibe you were just enjoying.
There's a sensation of going from "there" to "here."
It's very abrupt.
It's influenced by the immense strain on your system from leaving and going "up there" to the vibrations your soul once found familiar and pleasant. This tells your brain that you don't want to tolerate being "here," that you reject elements of it. And your brain, just like it needs oxygen, needs your presence in your body. If you deprive your body of your own presence for long periods, it will suffer.
Naturally, your body and mind filter this action of "leaving" as a threat to your thriving. You could interpret that depression as influenced by stress from "going away" from your body. Then there's the contrast of "there" vs. the perceived reality of "here."
The challenge for lightworkers, I believe is to transmute the tuning of your personal energy from one influenced by the collective-consciousness you're used to and trying to escape, into a new energy based on the vibrations you're instinctually seeking by going away.
So the challenge is to recognize that your instinct for "something higher" is correct, but you're going about it in a self-damaging way. Instead of leaving, bring those feelings down into your body and felt experience now.
Sometimes that hurts. But it's better once you get through it.
You can avoid the push and pull and the feeling of not belonging. Instead you become a pillar. It's how you're creating the new reality. The key is compassion and determination to live your truth.
